Create your own Operating System
How to Create your own Operating system .
Creating your own Operating system using SUSE Studio is so simple , just follow the steps .- Go to SUSE Studio and create a free account their . Use your Google account to sign up and come to the next part of the tutorial .
- Choose your Display name , your email and your account type .
Account type
- Individual : for your use only .
- Open source : anybody can use your Operating system .
Your display name : it will be the name of your Operating system . Don't worry you can change it later .
- Now on the next page , Enter the Description about your Operating system , your country and other basic info about you .
- Now come to the homepage and click on Create new appliance you will see many base template , choose a basic template for your Os and select your architecture . if you want to create a 32 bit then tick on 32 bit or else tick on 64 bit . Click continue .
- Now switch to Software tab , where you will have a power to add or delete any software from your Operating system .
Click on Add repositories to add any package like wine , skype or videolan . Click on add to add them into your Os .
- After adding essential software on your Os , Switch to Configuration tab where you can change the language , appearance of your Os .
Switch Personalize tab to change the background and logo of your Operating System .
- Now click on build to create your Operating system . You will get your link in some hours or minutes depending upon the size of your Operating System .
Now you are ready to use your own created Operating system , Feeling smart . right ? :D
I will suggest you to use your Operating system in Virtual machine .
